"This year we are presented with an election cycle that has the opportunity to break the super majority in the NYS Legislature, get us back to passing more conservative legislation, and restoring balance to the state budget. That is exactly why I have decided to run for this assembly seat in the 100th district."
ISSUES
Illegal Immigration

We must repeal sanctuary city status and illegal migration policies of local jurisdictions. The taxpayers of NYS should not have to fund the relocation and everyday services provided to illegal immigrants. We have our own challenges here at home in Sullivan County that we must solve before we further burden
our taxpayers with a federal government issue caused by the Biden administration.

Bail Reform

The legislature should repeal the disastrous cashless bail policies that have ravaged NYS with repeat offenders, burdened our court system further, and totally disregarded the victim’s rights. It is ridiculous to suggest that law enforcement ever be defunded while they are on the front lines of this disaster.

Fentanyl Crisis

We must tackle the fentanyl crisis that is destroying communities and families across NYS with a real approach to prevention, rehabilitation, and actually enforcing the law. Sullivan County has the highest opioid overdose death rate in the state, which is only exacerbated by bail reform and fentanyl pouring in over our open southern border.

Personal Freedoms

Everyone should be allowed to practice their 2nd Amendment rights and be unburdened by NYS regulation when exercising those rights, which is why I would support the immediate repeal of background checks on ammo purchase.

Our families throughout NYS should be allowed to parent and guide their children without government interference, especially when it comes to the curriculum taught in our public school systems.

Fix the State Budget

The excessive spending needs to stop. We need to cut unnecessary and honestly offensive spending on non-citizen services. There is no need to add to New Yorkers’ already hefty tax burdens with things like Congestion Pricing, constantly increasing property taxes, and ever-increasing costs to businesses that are passed onto local consumers.
